Last month I complained about Lewis’ first word, but now I’m singing another tune. He’s added “Mama” and “night night” to his vocabulary. Take that, Dada.
Lewis has also taken an interest in music; often banging toys together, shaking the maracas (his favorite), and when I break out into song and dance (a normal occurance when amongst my family), he’s sitting there smiling and bouncing with excitement (clearly he thinks I can pass as a pop star.) With that said, we are taking a baby music class together. OMGee, the cuteness that’s involved when you get a bunch of mama’s singing nursery rhyme songs, props (complete with the infamous rainbow parachute), and happy babies has been the highlight for my youngster. Plus it’s often followed by one killer long nap. Score.
